Creating a new genre of music, The Roaming Soldiers expresses its Southern Soul and Rockin' Roots can be heard in "Shine Bird Shine", which tackles everyday life issues – It's no surprise that this band has won over fans in Dallas Texas and all over the United States. The Roaming Soldiers have made no compromises when it comes to the quality of the songwriting and showmanship of this EP.

"We want to create a new genre of music but keep the sole and rocking sound that is seriously good, so I turned to some of my music heroes to help me out," says David George (Lead vocals and guitar) in reference to Roaming Soldiers debut EP "Shine Bird Shine". "I have wanted to make something like this this forever. I love music!"

The band is busy promoting this six song E.P. "Shine Bird Shine". The album is down loadable on iTunes and available for listen on TouchTunes in bars across the U.S. The band originated in Denton, Texas but has expanded with new musicians coming from Dallas, Arlington, and Denton. With new inspirations and having played many Music Festivals, SXSW 2010, and looking at dates for SXSW 2011 and with regular touring and multiple local showcases the Roaming Soldiers are forming a strong following. Multiple songs have been featured on 97.1 The Eagle's local show in Dallas Tx. and getting regular spins. And hope many other stations will do the same.
