Is Ska dead?

Many people believe that Ska is dead, this is coming from people that know about all the genres of music. Rummers were made at the end of the 90's, but true fans of Ska have said it never died but it slowed down?

When will the next wave of Ska strike again.

Ska is Dead? l like that album, lots of good stuff on there.

Seriously though, as long as there are internationally known ska bands out there - Reel Big Fish, The Aquabats, Streetlight Manifesto, etc. - Ska won't die. Just keep going to shows and buy albums. Play ska around friends, spread the love around your town. Who knows, maybe the fourth wave could get started by your own hands.

Lightbulb

I love Ska and don't think it's dead at all in the true heart of the scene!
The mainstream may not ever make it the popular thing...but wth bands like No Doubt and Save Ferris still holding attention...and new bands like CHASE LONG BEACH just coming out with their stuff. The genre is gaining all the time!!

Anyone agree?
