Artist:The Flaming LipsReview:Just past midnight on January 1st, with confetti cannonsexploding, the Flaming Lips launched into a raucous cover of PinkFloyd's 1973 bedroom-spliff warhorse, The Dark Side of theMoon. Sounds like it was fun — more so than thisrecorded version. There are some cool takes here: a dark, disco "Onthe Run," a Henry Rollins-assisted "Speak to Me/Breathe" that comeswith a psychedelic guitar freakout. But nobody needed to hearPeaches yowling on "The Great Gig in the Sky," and WayneCoyne...Rating:2.5 Stars
