I Have A Contest Idea

Why don't you guys have a referral contest?

Like the person who gets the most referrals within one month will win the competition?

It is a good way to get new members...

I love the idea, the only thing Im concerned with is

Can everyone play a fair by not creating new accounts by creating themself.
Will they tell or pay their friends lets say $0.50 to join/register and then the results of that are ususally they leave and never come back.
Is this very effective to just have members join with no activity from them
Should we have an addtional rule in it that states that 8/10 - 80% of your referrals have to be active on a weekly bases.

Here is my reply to those problems;

1. You can cross check the IP addresses.
2. Yeah that's possible but let that be up to the member if they want to pay to get referrals.
3. It is effective because some people join on the basis of members.
4. You could have that at least 50% of your members must have at least 10 posts by the time the contest ends. At the very least this will promote short term activity which in most cases is good.

Give it a shot!
