H-II: Cancer - Faith In A Time Of Trouble

The exam is completed, cancer suspected, biopsy taken and the lab results come back positive, the next step is CAT/PET scans to grade the spread. You arrive at the hospital, the markers are injected, you drink a quart of barium and have an hour wait for the CAT scans and related diagnostic tests. The experience is surreal and brings back into focus years of interfaith studies and the scripture verses begin to replay:

"I will never leave you or forsake you"
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding, In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths."
"Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength."
